About the Show
"Dream Makers" is a unique reality TV show that starts online then half way through the season adds cable TV venues and finally adds movie theaters across America for the show finale’.
"Dream Makers" lets the audience and industry professionals evaluate the talents of emerging movie industry professionals and amateurs. Each episode—hosted by Roger Rohatgi—features industry leaders, and special guests reviewing video pitches by contestants who want to work in the movie business.
Over the next three months our judges will select 150 contestants from a nationwide audition process to compete for 15 movie making positions. 10 finalists in each category will compete for the one position in their category to become part of the "Dream Makers" movie making team.
Every week contestants will make a pitch video about how they would develop the section of the screenplay our producers have chosen specifically for the show. The judges will give their professional opinion about who made the best pitch. The audience will select their favorite contestants from each category. Each week the lowest vote getters in each category will leave the show.
After the first four weeks our judges will pick the top three directors from the top vote getters from the directors category. These three directors will then interact with the remaining contestants everyday for the rest of show.
